Raiders
•Raiders are expected to play at a HIGH level and independently research their class mechanics for each encounter.
•They are expected to make spec changes (especially with the new talent system) regularly to boost raid performance. If anyone has a question, officers will lend assistance and may suggest certain changes.
•The Raid Leader reserves the right to replace Raiders that are not performing commiserate to their peers.
Raid Support
•Time constraints prevent you from raiding actively. You're able to log in when time permits and are willing to help the raid group when you are available.
•The Raid Leader (or other officers) will look to see if a Raid Support member is online and whisper them if a spot opens up (or if someone volunteers to sit).
•No DKP will be awarded or maintained for Raid Support
•You are entitled to unlimited /min bids.
F&F (Friends & Family)
•Members or higher can have Friends and Family join the guild without the need of filling out an application.
•Friends and Family of APPLICANTS will need to apply.
•Members are responsible for the actions of their friends and family. If drama ensues (in guild, trade chat, or another non-guild raid) they will receive notification from an officer.
Recruitment
Recruitment is an ongoing process that will never stop. Recruitment will take place on realm and other recruitment forums to maximize our exposure. The guild has a Wiki that also highlights what Apatheia is about, its leadership, and our focus. If any member receives inquiries about Apatheia, they are encouraged to refer people to the web site, the Wiki, or any officer for additional information.
•It is all guild members' responsibility to recruit/be on the lookout for potential recruits.
•Member's behavior and performance outside of the guild impacts our recruitment.
Raid Expectations
These have been published elsewhere, but it's worth going over them again. We expect raiders to attend all raids and to post out (24-hours in advance) when they cannot attend.
Raid Support are limited raiders. Their looting privileges are therefore limited to fun/min bids so that our primary raiders can acquire the gear they need to continue to progress.
Crafting
If you have unused herbs, consider sending them to an inscriptionist or one of our guild alchemists so they can make potions, elixirs, and flasks for our dungeons and raids.
Level up your fishing and cooking! Help us get mats for feasts and other buff foods.
Here are some more specifics. In a guild this large, you should all have expectations that we (the guild) will help you gear your main toon for heroics and raiding. That being the case, there must be more communal donation of unused mats. We're not expecting quotas from folks, but if you dip into the guild bank or request items, you should be donating stuff also.
•Toons with farming professions only are strongly encouraged to contribute to the guild bank. Toons with only a single gathering profession are encouraged to contribute any excess mats not used to level their crafting profession or provide gear/enhancements for raiders.
•Toons with crafting professions may pull mats from the guild bank.
•Crafted items that will not be used on your main should be put back into the guild bank for other mains to either equip, apply to gear (enchant scrolls, leg armor, etc...) or be DE'd. Given the amount of junk typically created to level other professions there should be plenty of items to DE.
•All raiders are STRONGLY encouraged to keep up with profession based dailies.
•As was done in 4.2 and 4.3, guild bank fund will be used to help provide some materials/gems/misc where raider contributions fall short or can not keep up with demand.
In a guild this large there's no good reason any of us as individuals should have to use the auction house to become raid ready. For example, our alchemists should be transmuting living steel to make mats for blacksmiths to turn into pre-raid epics, jewelcrafters should be cutting gems for all raiders to draw from, etc.
